Check engine light question
Ok my car was running fine when the check engine light came on in the display and the light came on. The manual said it is a fuel related problem. I believe this because I smelled gas in the car but not outside. Long story short the car started running ruff and would only make it up to 40MPH.
I have an appointment at the shop for Friday but do you guys have any ideas? This morning the car ran fine but the lights are still on. Strange!

No the manual said that if the digital check engine light comes on and the other C-Engine light come on at the same time then it is a fuel injection problem. The car ran like a train on the way home last night and would not make it over 40MPH. I was going to take off from work and get it fixed but when I got up today it was running smooth again with no issues but the indicator lights.
Oh I do not smell gas anymore and never saw any leak. I am thinking fuel regulator......any clues?
