Question Spring Pads

Per the H&R spring installation post, I have a question about the "spring pads". I know that different pads of different thicknesses are used. But how does the numbering system work? Lower number thicker pad? Or the other way around? Is there a chart or table somewhere?

Thanks,

-rob

Pads

Somewhere on this or the mercedesshop.com forum is a listing of the spring pad part numbers and their sizes. If someone can remember that link or do a search. Very handy information.
