Just the other day a new symbol came up on my radio display. It's in the upper right hand corner of the display and looks like a long U like this:

I__I <---- what is it??

I've never seen it before, I looked up in my Owner's manual on the radio and it didn't show what that symbol is. Have you looked at yours, since your profile didn't indicate what Model is your Mercedes and what Year since some Model year have a different type of radio.
