Not a Benzer anymore
My Wood (Center Console)...
The wood center console has faded over time... Can anyone recommend a way to bring its shine back to it original luster?
I've tried Lemon Pledge and then Murphy's Oil Soap on a small corner, but to no avail.
Thanks!

The top layer is not wood so furniture polish will not help. You would have to remove the piece and the switches and have it polished. If it is real bad then you might have to replace the part. If the whole dash faded the same, then the new piece will stick out.

It it not necessarily faded more than the surface being scratched. The top surface is a type of clearcaot, correct me if I'm wrong.
I know Griot's Garage make a fine polish that will help remove these scrathes. I haven't tried it yet myself

Believe it not, Armour All (sp?) with a soft rag does give some improvement with a good amount of buffing (the film off). I'm not sure why since it shouldn't be any more effective then the products you tried already.

I Use Meguiars PlastX Plastic Cleaner..It Works great..as the Clear coat is what is Scratched/Faded ..not the wood..

There is another plastic polish out there designed for aircraft canopies/windshields. I forget the name of it, but it comes with several different polishing compounds and buffing pads to make this type of surface scratches virtually disappear.
A quick google provided the following:
