Looking for best riding, quiet tire for factory 17's...
Well i def know the reason i get a rumbling from my car is the crappy Champiro tires the dealer put on the car before i bought it. As i've asked two others with the same tires that got the same rumble when they put them on. I can get tires at cost, so looking for the best ones for my factory 17's that i am gonna do black.

Goodyear Eagles F1 GS-D3, I would recommend that you go to tirerack and checkout user feedback.
The Goodyear GS-D3 and Michellin PS2 has highest rating, both in term of noise and ride quality.

Have to agree with Zam,,,used the F1's for spring to fall,,,excellent ride, good wear, nice wet control, grippy cornering, decent price from the "rack".

Sumitomo HTRZII's were very nice and quiet as are Kumho Escta Supra 712's. I would not recommend the Eagle F1 GS-D3's on your car. They were loud as hell on mine. They were OK once you got up to speed on smooth asphalt roads but at lower speeds and over uneven concrete they howled like a dog. I would not recommend these tires to anyone.
Look at the Tire Rack website for personal reviews. This is not that uncommon. People either loved these tires or hated them as I did. Many GS-D3 customers also had issues with side wall bubbling and or the noise. There are more positive reviews than negative but the negative ones are really strong.

Bridgestone Turanza LS-V. By far some of the best tires for the best price.
Check out www.tirerack.com. Pretty good reviews about it.

Tire rack, tire rack, tire rack
Hey, Little, the guys have it right.
Pick your size and then spend some time reviewing the tires at tire rack (no matter where you may decide to buy them). Their information is priceless because you can see -- based on the specific tire -- what other purchasers have had to say about them. My previous car was a Pontiac and based on tire rack information I ended up with Pirellis, which I absolutely loved. They had excellent grip, good feedback at the limits, rode very quietly and when pushed past their limits (I love lateral gs) they had a nice, low-pitched howl. I did end up purchasing from Tire Rack because they had the best price, although it was a pain to find someone to put them on for less than $35 a wheel (the places TR recommended - ouch! )
Another question to consider is where you live; if you're in a place that you can safely drive on all season or 3-season performance tires all year long, that somewhat limits your choices (but then you can pay more for better tires because you don't need two sets!). And since you can pick sizes at Tire Rack and then sub-categorize them based on performance rating before reading the personal results info, it really helps with the decision.
After you decide, follow up on this thread so we can all share your knowledge.
Take care and enjoy the (quiet) ride,
Greg

Ok, cool. Yea i mean i can get a summer tire as i can live with the tires on the car now in the winter, i'd just have them remounted. I've heard good things about the Kuhmos before. Might give them a try.
