Multi-funtion wheel question
I'm looking at a black wheel instead. I need to know if all e320's since 10/99 had MF wheels or not. I've been told this, but I wanted to know for sure before buying one that I cannot use.
BTW, what is required to replace the java airbag cover and MF controls at the same time?
If there are other optins, I'd certainly love to see a few pics, etc.
Thanks,
Dan

I think MBenzNL has those airbags in stock; you may want to mail to check the price. They are also available in real leather covering (wears a little better and looks a little nicer than the regular vinyl covering). I definitely know that steering wheels are available there, especially in anthracite (what you're probably looking towards doing). One of my friends has the anthracite MF wheel/airbag in his car with the beige interior (I don't think it is java technically... can't remember though). It looks (surprisingly to me) OK.

Thanks for the info as well.

I'm in the same boat where the buttons are jacked up and the wheel is getting old...
I had originally thought the MBZ wheel was vinyl because it has such a strange feel.
My wife hates the wood and leather wheels, so what are my options????

greetingz,
So far, the charcoal color of the MF wheel matches my interior pretty well and charcoal does not stand out at all. I also like the AMG "bumps" in the steering wheel and my thumbs actually seeks out those bumps when I drive.
(Did I say the MF Wheel is an AMG? But without the center AMG logo, which I would not want anyway since my car is pure stock... pure virgin quality stock.)
