Centre console lighting
Can anyone help me regarding how to replace the bulbs behind the heater controls in the centre console? Is it a case of removing the radio to gain access or is it more complicated?

Without asking you what kind of car you're asking about, I'll presume it's somewhat like mine - 2000 E320. In that case, there is a set of tools which fit into the little slots on the lower corners of both the radio and the climate control panel. Each just withdraw, and lamps can easily be changed on the back.

If it is the light for the climate control display, remove the climate control with the same removal tools as used for the radio and replace the bulb from the bottom. There is a bulb socket in the center.
