Rust question on W210?
Hey guys...quick question on the 2001 E430. My friend is in the market for a Mercedes so we went to check out a 2001 E430 sport last weekend. I notice rusting on the wheel axles. I read somewhere that this a common problem on W210 model. Does anyone know anything about it or know if it's on warranty?

That is not under any kind of warrantee's. The axel is covered with rust and it is not rusted out. It normal discoloration of the axel and does not decay.
