Keyless Entry blinking red and green
I have an 96 E320 and whenever I use the keyless entry system, the red and green lights start blinking simutaniously for about 20 seconds. The system works fine, but it is the first time i have this blinking light situation. Anyone know whats up?

battery low?
I don't know a lot about the older style keyless entry since I have the smartkey system, but maybe it's telling you that your remote battery is low...

yes, it's the battery in the remote.
change it. If you still have the same problem, it could be the battery on the car. Should get it tested if that's the case.

most likely its the battery in the remote.

Same thing happened in my S class.
