W210 Can I retro fit VCS or Linguatronic
Dear Group,
I am in the UK and will be buying 2001 W210 with Comand and integrated phone.
How easy is it to retro fit VCS or Linguatronic ?
I understand that US vehicles have the PTT switch already pre-installed on the column. Is this the case in the UK? Also what is the cost of the parts and basic procedure.

if your car does not have the switch installed, you can add it. I am not sure if UK cars are prewired or not and if not, then you need to add a harness. It can be done though. I would contact Steve. steve@mbenznl.com
