Exclamation Type of the lubricant/grease for repacking bearing

I am doing front brake work on my car. Replacing frong brake pads, sensors and rotors.

I have bought wheel seals also. I will try to re-packed Wheel Bearings and install new wheel seal. Does any one know what type of grease or lubricant MB recommend to be use for re-packing of bearing?

Thumbs up Mobil1 makes a good one

I've yet to find a specific spec on wheel bearing grease; you might post up in the tech forum as well and, failing that, ask your dealer (if you have one you can trust...)

That said, I've used Mobil1's synthetic grease on other cars (haven't had to do my E yet) with excellent results. I would not hesitate to use it on my E.

Good luck with the brake job; hope the rotors come off easily.

Enjoy the ride when you're all through,
Greg
