Humm/buzz from interior maplights

Humm/buzz from interior maplights

I can hear a 'humm' from the interior maplights when I start the car. Slight, electrical type sound with the lights off. Is that normal?

No this is not normal. There is a small fan or vacuum pump that draws air in for the climate control temp sensor. When it starts to go bad, it makes noise.

I too have this problem. My question is how to remove the sunroof / maplight assembly to get the small fan or vacuum pump. Can't figure out how the damn thing is attached to the roof. Any suggestions??
