HELP, can't get this control arm loose...

I have no idea but I have had this off twice before but now it just won't budge. I'm talking about the upper control arm connecting to the the arm extending downwards to the lower control arm. I had them off before but taking off the nut and then prying it off with a bar, then later i had use the hammer a bit to get it off. Now I have tried to pry and hammer but it just won't move. Spent probably a hour on it and nothing. I'm getting very frustrated, without it getting off i can't change the springs anymore.

Here is a picture in case you guys don't know which part i'm talking about:

I sprayed a ton of lube on it, hammered and pryed but it just won't move!!!!! Anyone have a easier way of getting this off, anybody in the past get this problem?

Old time mechanics would use a torch to heat it as well as getting a bigger hammer.

things with and without wheels
are you supporting the lower control arm, to take the pressure off?
also where are you striking it with the hammer?.I would strike the solid surface where the ball joint goes through, leave the nut partially on the maybe 3 threads, apply pressure to the control arm with the pry bar and strike the spot mentioned previously.

With a little heat and some hammering it came off finally. When i got it back on, i made sure to fill it with some lube!
