I'm probably a day away from buying a 2000 E430 4matic with 60k on it.
It's a dealer purchase with 100k extended warranty.
The biggest selling point is they are going to buy out my 03 VW Passat finance contract.
I'm concerned the VW value will fall even faster with the new model.
So I save big on the shortfall and save on the tax payout.
The purchase price will be approx $25k remember this is from a MB dealer.
Any thoughts?

Mr. JD, welcome to the board...there are a lot of info on this site. IF u ever have any questions OR issues with your W210 do search and I'm pretty sure you will get solutions, and if NOT, just post a questions and people will respond. U have warranty for the next 40K miles, so You are in good hands of the mercedes stealer for that period....
Your dad should be proud of you....
