drive side cat
i am inquiring about a 210 wagon with a cat failing on the drivers side. there are 2 cats on that side and the lower one failed. i know i need to get the whole pipe with both cats. the best price so far is $600. the car is in the OC so if anyone has a great contact for a lower price please speak up.

You could go aftermarket
DEC makes a direct-fit replacement catalytic converter for Mercedes. I have no personal experience with the brand, but from what I've read on various forums, they make quality parts. All the pipes are mandrel-bent, etc. OEM quality at about half the cost of the factory part. I found them for sale at Car-Stuff and Car Parts Warehouse.

600$ is actually a good price for the driver side cats. I know of a MB specialist in OC that replaced both sides at a good price,located 1 exit before MB of Laguna Niguel. Shop name is (D.A.I Motorsports) Let me know if you need more info.
