Help with 98 E430 suspension

Hello all,

I am running H&R cupkit on my E430, but the front (#4 pad) is getting lower and lower since i put them on 2 years ago (causing many underbody damage already), but the rear sits perfect with #1 spring pad. Since it's only the front that's having problem with clearance, i am thinking about changing the front springs from the H&R cupkit version to the regular H&R sport springs
(2" vs 1.4" drop) and replace #4 pad to #1 pad to even it out.

My question, is it a bad idea to use different set of springs in the front and rear, i am staying with H&R, but just want to raise my car a little, any opinions??

Thanks!!

You shouldn't have any issues with different brands/heights on front and rear, but obviously you wouldn't do that on the same axle.
