Wald Kit Question?

They have 2 versions of the wald kit available. My question is the EX version just a lip kit and the v2 is a full body kit. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks for the help mbworld members.

Greetings,

Yes you are correct V2 is the full body kit that includes the complete front and rear bumper and side skirts.

As for Ex is just front and rear lip with side skirts. Is more subtle. Not as aggressive as V2. Do keep note that V2 only make for model 1998, not facelift 2000.

I have Ex model 2000 installed. Is cool.

Regards,
Simon Low.

do you have pictures of your cars? Thank you for confirming that. I will be going with the ex kit. How much did you get your kit for?

The V2 is only for 96-99. I had it on my previous '99 E320. It was badass

Just don't crash it.

Now I cant decide. Very clean car you had! Ill probably end up getting the v2 now. Even though probably every1 has been ordering it.

That car didnt look to bad. Looks like you needed a new door and fender and front bumper. Must have been a 3 car accident or something to your car.

How did he spin out? The traction control system triggered and made him loose control?

I was the first one in the US w/ the V2 kit. There's another on the East Coast and another on its way to Kansas or something I forgot where. So you won't be like everyone with it.

But yeah, truck driver kicked my ***

oh and Andrea isn't mine anymore. I saw that in my old post.

I m yet to post up my car photo this weekend.

Anyway i paid usd 1,400 for my Ex kit. Ex kit is almost unnoticeable. Is very clean. As far as i know the V2 kit is more aggressive and bulkier on the lower end of the front, side and rear. It kinda buldge out from the body of the car. If aggressive is what you are looking for, V2 will be your best choice.

By the way what model year are you currently driving?

Regards,
Simon Low.

I thought more people on the forums would have gotten the v2 kit. I am going to do the v2 kit for sure now. Espicially after seeing the GodFathers car.

OK, some pics to help u decide.....the Exchange ("Ex") can look aggressive too if given the right treatment.....

Ex, here's one of another member...mild treatment without the bumper duct to make it look like the facelift version:

Here's a Jap Ex with aggressive styling and drop:

Ex with "bumper duct", as shown on the wald site:

V2, as per "Godfather" - full bumper version:

Another commonly seen pic of the V2 (not real nice without a decent slam and the right wheels):

Well V2 kit would only for w210 non-face lift below year 2000.

Those with year 2000 face lift cannot install the V2 kit, it would look weird
