Help ! Power Seat Switch - Picture Incl

A passenger in my car broke the power seat switch . Can I remove the brown cover ? How can I fix it ? The switches are pushed or sunken into the door .
I have a 2000 E430. See Pic below

You will have to open up the door panel. It's simple: three screws: one is at the the side, where there's a hook for door to body. One is behind the side airbag sign (that little circle SRS cover), and one is behind the door open latch (pull open the door handle, ply open the plastic piece behind it, you'll see the screw). Twist the door lock knob counter clockwise to get it off. Then slowly ply off the door panel, unplug the light at the bottom.

Once the door panel is off, you can see the switch, it really have to be remove from behind the door panel. Chance is once of the tab that hold the switch to the door panel is broke, you can just buy JBWeld from HomeDepo and glue it back. If you are really sure that you switch is broke and need to be replaced, I have a spare one and can sell it to you for some small $$ (how about $25 + shipping). Or just get it from any Benz dealer.

THe seat switch can not be removed nor replaced w/o removing the entire door panel

Remove the door panel and see what has broken off. Like ZAm said, replace the bracket or glue it.

I took the car to an MB Service center and just the brown wooden cover for the power seat switch was $220 but they took it out without removing the entire door
