I think you should be good,Im using the Type IV's.and Ive seen them on CLK's,as well as C55 AMG's.Same offest as you mention, and the 5-112 bolt pattern should be same on your new wheels.I will defer to the wheel GURU,,,Whitey,he should be able to confirm for you.

Yes but they will look puney and stick in...why do u want these anyway kicker, I thought u have a really nice setup with the Carlssons?
Hi, guys, long time no talk...
well, my rear tires are eating up like crazy, just replaced them last year around June, and tires are already cupped showing high and low spots towards inner edge of both rear tires. 265/30 18s.. are pretty expensive. Techincan said becasue of lack of alignment.... I don't understand I had the rear adjustable camber installed and with Koni and vogtland setup.. why eating up the tire so fast. (maybe they are Falkens tires??) Do I really need to get aligned so often?? That's why I was thinking about going with the 17s. since I live in Missouri, they give me more options on the tires.
here is the pic link of that AMG what you guys think? they are for sale under classifield section. they are also several post of wheels and tires for sale like the w211 wheels etc... just keep my options open..

I'd say maybe tire pressure (too little) has something to do with it but if the edge is worn unevenly it is most probably the "tou" alignment (i.e. the vertical axis, as opposed to the camber which is the "horizontal" axis). Hope that makes sense....I'd have that checked out before deciding to ditch those nice wheels of yours.
Oh, as for the wheels, I don't really think those wheels would look any good on the W210 becuz thin spokes look crap on the 210 body (unless multi-spoked to create the illusion of a larger face area) but that's just my $0.02...
