Help ! Factory HID question
Hi, I just bought a used 2001 E320. Unfortunately, it didn't come with the factory HID. Can anyone tells me can I buy the factory HID headlight from the dealer and is it just direct bolt on to replce the the headlight? Coz I don't want to buy the aftermarket stuff. And anyone know where I can get the factory HID headlight set in lowest price(how much is it?) Thanks for your advise.

The OEM HID headlights retail for about $1000 each. They are made by Hella. www.bekkers.com has them for $1197.90 a set for 2001 and 2002 vehicles. The units for 1996-2000 w210 are slightly different in the back and how they mount. Good Luck!

The Headlites are Plug and Play!BUT The Front Bumper MUST Be Removed to Install the Headlites on the 2000 on E Class
I Just Installed EURO XEONs on my 2000 E Class Wagon..
All I can Say is WOW big difference from Usa XEONS
Try www.MBenz.NL For the Euro lites or Shop the States for a set!
EVOSPORT/Autowerksexpress/Performance products..and BEKKERS...

Mark did you swap US OEM HID for Euro HID? Was it the whole assembly or bulb upgrade? Were the assemblies made by Hella? Thanks.

Euro Xeons
The EURO XEONs are different ! ..Non DOT/A Coded Lites
Different Lens/ For both the Low Beam(Xeon) and The High Beams
Also it has the AUTO/Self level ...It is SOOOOOO Nice!
You Must Change out the Whole Lite assy.For the Euro Lites
I had to Lower the Adjustment from the Stock lites..I Was Getting Flashed...To BRIGHT

I do want to get more info on this. I'm not sure if the upgrade you mention would be better, or should I just upgrade to "Stage II" xenon, such as shown on hids4less.com (I'm sure just installing the new upgraded bulbs would be much easier). But it sounds like there is a difference in the lenses (USA vs. Euro). Correct?

The Euro Xeons have a different Lens! For the Low Beam (XEON) and The high Beam...I did the Euro lites Because I DID NOT want the MESS of HID4 less I Wanted a Factory Piece/Look Clean Install
I Also Compared the EURO Lights to a FRIEND who has a W210 With USA XEON Lites and the Lens Is DIFFERENT!and the DIFFERENCE Is WOW! And My Friend Thought I had MY LIGHTS adjusted high but when we were side by side on a wall ....well He Said Man I Have to get a set of THOSE!

What I can't figure out is why Tony at Bekkers swore up and down there was NO difference between the Euro and USA versions of the lights. He was the person who helped another member with just such a swap-out...
Anyway, I 'm waiting to hear back from Steve at MBenz.NL to see what HE says. Will keep you posted!

Where to get the Stage II xenon bulbs
did every one know where I can get the stage II xenon bulbs (I already have factory xenon). I just want to upgrade the 6000k bulbs. Which brand recommand?
