Hahhahahaha...thanks Bro! Will do...we must talk price tho, I insist! But why not keep em for your C6? They'd be hot on your 4-wheeled stealth bomber Want some interior lites too? I think Red LED's in the footwells of yours would be kickass......zip me across an email and I can show u the way to the "dark side"...cheap and easy!

E63? hahhahah

btw, I had puddle lights which I bought from a forum member on mbklasse. Homemade. The kit was complete and well put together, but the quality was not good. After I drilled my skirts, wired it all up and put the skirt back, a couple of the led's burned out b/c of the poor quality (the prongs at the base of the LEd bent, which was fine, but cut through the shrink tube and short cutted. Whack).
Doc, suggest not messing around with home made stuff, the greatest concern would be water resistance. Mine, the ventunos and the Brabus are all encased and waterproofed and definitely no bent prong problems. These things are now much cheaper than when we first saw them, so check out your local ricer shop and do yourself a favor.

My footwell ones are "homemade" to the extent that they are just a superbright LED with a resistor - had to wire it all up myself, but then that's the interior and in a place that does not subject them to the elements.

Hey Whitey,

(sorry off topic)

Been meaning to ask you. What type of skirts are those that hide the ugly black weatherstrip? Older E55?

First phase was just body paint, followed by the pre-facelift W210 E55 skirt. Which do you mean?

I sychronized them with the interior lites, so they fade out together with the ceiling lamps and turn on when I unlock the car or open the doors only. If I want them on when I drive, I'll have to drive with my interior lites on None of those Fast N Furious shiet for me.......

What lites did u want to see? The interior ones or skirt ones? The skirt ones are no different to your Brabus-type ones (4-5 LED bulbs per unit). For the interior I use a single "star" LED but you can basically use different types of LEDs but they will give a different illumination effect...
