Do you care......

about how many miles you are putting on your car? Do you try and keep it lower for future better resale values? Or just let her rip?

i care, but not so much for re-sale value, as for the fact that I want to keep it as new as possible for as long as possible.

Not at all. 98 W210: 30-35K/year. 100 mile/day commute. Sometime go 300-400 miles just for dinner (well, and the ride).

2004 W211: 9K mile (18 months). I hate the damn car. Can't stand the SBC and floaty ride. Wife doesn't mind to drive it.

Why worry? It's a car. Cars are for driving.

My 98 E430 has 85k on it. That is low mileage for a 7 year old car, but my commute is only 5.5 miles to a Ferry Terminal and on weekends I drive my Disco almost exclusively because I have 3 boys (#4 on the way) and I can't bear the thought of them eating in my car, kicking the seats, wearing their soccer and baseball cleats in it etc.......

I am not overly concerned about Mileage. When my wife and I go out we take the MB. I bought this car so that it would last me a minimum of 10 years and I expect to get about 120k miles out of it so I have never really given resale value much thought.

These babies are made to roll. Isn't that the point of getting a M-B?

Anyhow, high milleage is not my concern as I just bought a '97 E320 with only 54k miles on it.

Being that I just purchased my 1996 E320 for a daily driver mile monkey lets see how long she lasts! It has 97k miles now and ill keep it until say 200-250k.

Just had the entire suspension replaced front and back (links, bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, shocks, everything) and also replaced the wiring harness -- several other things too. Car was in great shape but wanted to make it like new before I started to drive it all over the place. So I pick the car up today from the shop and now the game of how long it will last begins! It will be a long game since mb's never seem to die!

Have not had a W210 for a long time. It has that old MB feel not seen in new benzes. Might not zig and zag like a new E350 or go as quickly it sure feels like one big brick!

I just wish the car was a E420. But when you have a chance to pick up a perfect 1996 car with lowish miles for 6.6k you take it and have fun!

W212 & W210
Drive it all you want cause the resale is not that great.
I have a 96 with 171,3xx on it. I plan on putting as much miles on it as possible.

I don't really think about selling it. It is still solid and I enjoy the drive.
Not really interested in the new ones except the CLS55 or SL55.
