i pulled up a VMI for a 02 E430 and the car came w/ E1 & E2 VAPs.. but the VMI doesn't explain what these are, can someone list what these packages are? thanks!

 

One is the moonroof & Bose radio package. The other is xenon lights, headlight washer jets, and probably a few other things.

Do you have heated seats or Parktronic?

 

Package E1: Xenon High Intensity Discharge headlamps with heated washers.

Package E2: 8 speaker Bose sound system (standard on E430 models). Power tinted glass sunroof. Rain-sensing automatic intermittent windshield wiper.

I know this thread is old but I just bought a 98 E320 4Matic Wagon and would like to know what package(s) my machine has...

I have:
ESP
Sunroof
Bose w/CD changer in way-back
Heated seats
HID headlights
Headlight washers
Self-Leveling suspension
Stupid analog phone (paperweight)
Rain sensing wiper
Multi-contour seats
That's all I can think of now

What's the scoop? I'm new to MBs and have no clue about the different packages available. I don't know what from the above list is standard equipment and what is an option (I thought MBs came with everything standard )
