'98 E-Class owners: Do your garage door opener buttons have a house symbol?

Can you take a look at your visor buttons and see if there is some sort of symbol that looks like an outline of a house near them?

Thanks

I don't believe mine does. Just three black, unmarked buttoms on the visor.

Why?

Well I am trying to source a '98 visor for my '97. Supposedly the visor buttons on the '98 support rolling code opener technology while the visor buttons on the '97 do not. I have found someone who supposedly is selling a visor from a '98, but he says it does not have the Homelink logo like the one in the picture posted by E-Klasse.

Could you take a look again? Don't want to blow money on the wrong visor.

I have a 99 E320. The buttons are on the underside of the rear view
mirror. No pictograms are seen.

Can someone with a '98 and remote opener buttons on their visor PLEASE take a look and tell me if there is a Homelink (outline of a house) logo? I don't need instructions or links to anything. Thanks!

I upgraded my 96 to the 98 visor and rolling codes work on it. The color of the LED determines if it is Homelink so it may not have the home logo. The amber LED works with rolling codes. The LED is red originally on the older visors and the module is not much good for anything.

That is what I understand. The seller can't tell me what color the LEDs light up since it's not installed in a car. He did reassure me that it came out of a '98.

How do you get the Genie opener to work on a 1997 E320

I checked the other day and noticed that there is no Homelink emblem next to the buttons. Nothing there on my '98.
