Trunklid damper?
When I use the remote to open my trunk the lid would fly upward with such force that I'm afraid it might smash thru my rear window. Is there a way slow this trunk openning process down so it opens slower/gentler? Thanks!

Ok, I've figured this out. Open your trunk and pull back the carpet on the side of the trunk. You'll see a plate on each side of the trunk with a bunch of holes in it and a spring hooked into one of the holes. All you will have to do is unhook the spring and move it toward the front of the car, repeat for the other side as there are 1 spring for each side. I've found the 2nd hole back from the forward edge of the plate to be the best, now when I open my trunk the lid goes up nice and easy.
