I just noticed that my SRS lite is not goin off. Took my seatbelt on and off to see if maybe it wasn't detecting my belt was buckled, but still nothing. So then i start the car, get and get in the passenger side, shut the door and it goes off, even though safety belt is not fastened. Sooo, what could be bad that everytime i sit in the passenger side, it immediatley goes off??

The sensor under the seat cushion (a large pancake) eventually dies in many W210s. You may find that eventually the light will never go off no matter what you do. Somebody else showed me how they replaced it themselves, and it seems like a PITA kind of job, what with pulling out the seat altogether.
