Satellite radio installed & some pix of my 98 E320

Some minor mod to my 98 W210 since the Upsolute chipping. Would love to have a steering upgrade (love the one like Whittey have, but noooo more money on car, as my wife says)

- Upgraded the ValentineOne to latest version (2.83, with Dual POP). Also, modified the remote display, with differrent LED color for diff radar band. Help to easy to identify radar thread with quick glance while driving.

- Since I never use the CD-changer, I upgrade the stereo unit to new-style look. I open up the stereo unit, and run the cassette adaptor inside, with wire down to the ash-tray to be aux port, awesome sound quality (1000 times better than most crappy FM modulator).

- Replaced the aftermarket TV antenna with 4 channel Pioneer one, much better reception.

- Installed Sirius satellite radio. Would never go back to the *beep* *beep* FM. Sound is fantastic connected with the aux port that I created from the cassette unit. Installed antenna near the wiper blade, excellent reception. Highly recommend this option to everyone. Avoid FM modulator, they suck. Don't put the ugly sat antenna on top of the trunk either

Just got a new Canon Pro1, so took some pix today. Still learn how to use this cool camera.

Not at all, with XM, you could even use a smaller antenna unit (XM have some of the very tiny antenna). Since XM uses geo-sync satellite (as oppose to geo-mobile sat for Sirius) signal reception would probably be better for that same set up.

The only reason I went with Sirius is for Stern show, had not, I would go XM too. Whether XM or Sirius, satellite radio rules !!!
