I pulled the ash tray, radio, and heat/ac display modules to run some wires to my XM radio. When I re-installed everything, the AC/heat display module does not illuminate when the headlights are on. There are only 2 connectors into that module, so no chance of missing a connector. Any advice? Unit seems sealed, not sure I want to try to pry it open.
The climate control module has it's own light in the center. You just need to replace the bulb. Pull the module out and look at the bottom. There is a bulb holder in the center. The light doesn't come on at the same time that you turn your headlights on. It can take up to a minute for it to iluminate the climate control screen because the module has a mind of it's own.

Hey thanks! Sure enough I just twisted and pulled it out, tested with a 12v supply on the side contacts and not light. I wonder how I damaged it, it's unlikely it just decided to burn out at the exact time I was doing some work.
I also somehow busted the bulb on the cig lighter also, when I pulled the connector off, that little bulb came out too. Trip to the MB service dept, unlikely to find these at Walmart.
