I just saw the warning info of defective lamp and realized that my fog lamp on the drivers side is blown... how do you change this and how hard is it ?

On my 97 there is a plastic access panel that can be removed to be able to access the bulb. Easy to replace once you're in there.

Sorry to break the news to you, but defective fog light wiring harnesses are a common problem with the 210s. Hopefully it's just a lamp. When changing it, be sure not to touch the lamp with your fingers, as it is a halogen and the oil from your fingers would shorten the bulb life.

They are correct about the harness. If you find that you cann't seperate the bulb from the connector (they are melted together), you will need the modified harness.

just jack the car up on the driverside. Then look underneath the car under the headlights. You will see a panel which you can use a quarter to twist to open or unlock the 2 plastic pieces so that the panel can now be pulled down. Open panel and see if you can twist the bulb out. Hopefully your hands arent too big to fit in there or you might have a problem. If bulb is fused to socket you will have to buy new foglights (ebay for $100 pair or dealer $220 pair). Dont go looking for the harness i did and wound up buying some piece of SH@# off ebay that is unknown to dealer but was told it was a harness from seller. Good Luck
PS
not to difficult but a mechanic though will charge about $60 to change bulb which should take you 15 minutes. i think bulb cost about $12 at dealer.
