Cold weather induces electrical problems?
So it was around 10 degrees Fahrenheit outside a couple nights ago and my keys wouldn't unlock, I close my door and the rear light would turn on! I didn't have my "door lights" engaged. Also, my electric seats operation was intermitent. My amber lighting on the driver's side was flickering as well. I look back at my rear door and the lighting for the window button was flickering as well...my windows wouldn't roll down either! I took my keys and replaced the batteries...didn't know what happened!
I took my car out the next day, mind you, it is not as cold, and it was normal. Any ideas? I had my windows tinted and used plenty of liquid to clean the glass, but this has never been a problem, since I have had to have the windows re-tinted three times over the past 7 months (5% to 35% and back to 5%).
If it happens again or not, I am still going to have a technician look at it. I want ed to know if anyone has had any similar problems.
