How do you replace the wood trim piece around the shift gate?

Question: how difficult is it to replace the wood trim piece around the shift gate? Mine came back from a service appointment and I found some minor scratches well after-the-fact.

Thank you!

pretty easy....but there are electricals beneath and attached...so be warned
it's not simply a piece of shiney wood panel.

push fingers down into intersection of cup holder and shifter trim. curl fingers
under shifter trim. pull up and 10# of pressure will release. careful now....

watch for wiring. black, retangular shift surround is separate piece.

edsoto.com has video. i have also but it's 11mb and i'm too poor up have
decent upload/host space. if anyone can host, I can Limewire to you. may
not be needed though. above description took more time to type than needed
to pop trim, upload, or view video.

Thanks for the reply; guess I'll give it a try and see what I can manage to break! That seems to be my luck, anyway...
