Arrow Help, please! 18" W210 spare tire shell.

Hi, all,

I am looking for a spare tire shell, the black thing to keep the spare not move, for 18" wheel. If anyone know the part number, please help!

Thanks in advance!

I have a W211 that came with a compact spare. I was able to fit a full sized (for a W211) 225/55-16 tire in the spare tire wheel well.
I bet that the biggest tire that will fit in your spare tire wheel well is whatever 16 inch rim/tire was in there originally. An 18 inch tire is likely to be wider than the stock 16 inch tire and not allow the trunk mat to lay flat.

Your best bet will be to check the dealer or a salvage yard for this part for a W210 E55. They were the only W210 stock at 18 inches. I am not sure if the E55 part is any different than yours, but it would be worth a call to the dealer parts department.

I put a 18" wheel in the trunk, and I don't have problem with the mat.
But, I can't find the center shell to fix the wheel, the original one is for 16" spare.
I called dealer today, and found they are not well-informed.
Maybe I should try the other dealer tomorrow.

Thanks for replies!

Why everybody on the forum keeps asking for a part number huh??
What is so hard in calling your local delaership and asking them for the part number?? Just tell them what you need and for which car exactly and they will be happy to give you a part number. That's their job!

Anyway I'm too lazy to call the Merc right now but it costs 17.50 MSRP
If you have a business or a frined who has a business (they get 20% disc) it's 14$ with 20% disc.

check it out it has pictures of most parts:
