I got 2001 E430 with 74000 miles on it.
Every once in while I notice howling sound from rear differential. It is happing at 60 mph and 2000 RPM. Once I get out of this range, I don't hear any howling.
Once my speed increase to 65 or decrease to 55 mph the howling goes away.
Any one have any idea what can be the solution.
Do I need to replace gear oil for rear differential?
