My pilot sports are about to go to the trash. Any one has experience on the following tires that I am considering?
Pirelli P-Zero Rosso
Bridgestone S03
Conti-sport contact 2
Dunlop SP sport Max
Any suggestion is appreciated, thanks!

I will do some research on the tirerack to finalise my choice. Pilot sport was good but you know men always like to try something new.

Don't get the PZero Rosso's -- any of the other three on your list would be a better choice...and then you've got another 3-6 good tire choices to choose from other than what is on your list.
Going to Tirerack's site is a good idea. Posting in the Tirerack-sponsored Wheels and Tires Forum and asking Luke for a recommendation is another good idea.

Bridgestone S03 is an excellent choice for dry/wet and I have had great experience with them. Steering response and grip is a bit behind Michelin PS2 but superior in wet.
Currently I am using Goodyear F1 GS-D3 another good one. Wet is unbelieveable given all the rain in Northern CA lately. No hydroplan and drives straight when going through 2"-4" deep water spot on freeway. Dry is also good but definiitely behind PS2 and S03.
Good luck...

The F1 GS-D3 are the best tires you can buy for all around performance. They are very sticky in wet and dry have great treadlife for a high performance tire and on top of all that, they are a bit less expensive compared to other tires of that level of performance. Only BFG g-force KDW offer a bit more performance (on DRY surface) but cost more and wear very rapidly. Kuhmo MX tires are also very affordable and offer great performance but the treadlife is not great. The other tires mentioned in this thread are great tires but come at great cost. I strongly recomend the goodyear eagle F1 GS-D3 over any other tire. I am new to the MB community but have been in the Supra and Viper communities for a while and these tires are a favorite of many high HP car owners. Best of luck with whatever you decide.

BTW... Tirerack.com has great comparative performance on all the tires that have been mentioned. The best tire for you will likely depend on where you need the performance: cornering, straight line traction, wet surfaces etc.
I think the info on tirerack would help you a lot.

Consider the Michelin Exalto H rated tires... I can't hang with replacing tires every 9 months. So far they have been great and they have a wear out warranty of 40,000 miles. They are available up to 235 45 17's
I used to hate the Goodyear F1's , but that was from a set of GS-D2. Now they have the GS-D3 with a sharper tread angle which eliminates noise (what I hated about the previous). These tires are amazing for summer tires. Stick like glue in the turns and stick like glue in the rain. I like to scare my friends by taking a 90' turn at 40 mph with barely a slip.
For all season, the Sumitomo HTR is a nice tire for the money.
About to swap out the summer set with Michelin PS A/S... curious how people like these.
