TSBs in detail
I went to All-Data site and sucked up ton of TSBs with details and instructions for the following vehicles:
98 E320
99 E320
00 E320
01 E320
problem is that they're each approx 30-40mb and I dont have
server to host.
#1- if someone has server space AND
Adobe Acrobat, I can part out each year into 9mb chunks and
you can splice together. that should keep the internal links
intact and then host for download.
#2- i can send to folks free in 9mb chunks via Yahoo email
but that will destroy internal links (unless you have Acrobat to
splice) to documents
#3 - I'll toss on 3" CD in the US mail to first 5 respondants for free
afterwhich it'll cost you $80,000 (I want an E55
)
#4 - seattle folks, I'll show you how to get this for $0
I can prob do similar for other models but it's a little tedious and each
model takes about an hour or so. My 99 MY took 2-3 hrs to download,
collate, turn to PDF and save to disk. Got tired and stopped it when
it approached 4000 pages 70mb. Dont freak out, it's not 4k pgs TSBs....it
includes links to diagrams, schematics, and other how-to related
info/photos to the TSB. sample
Not really looking forward to doing this but if the opportunity arises,
enough spare computers are available, the Seahawks win the Superbowl,
etc.....I can try. No promises....my own timeline.
