rear stabilizer replacement

Has anyone replaced the rear stabilizer (sway bar)? The front was easy, but the rear looks like the rear suspension needs to be dropped. The sway bar will not slide out due to limited space.

My understanding is that it is a b*tch -- and that you do have to do the drop.

Has anyone lowered the rear subframe assembly? I have done searches on this and other forums. I only found one write-up and I am not sure it is for the w210.

I had it done....not that big of a deal. Yes, it is more difficult than the front. See the H & R thread for more details.
