Weird Check Engine Light
Since I'd rather not go to the dealer and pay upwards of $70 just to have them plug in a computer and tell me what's wrong, could someone here have an educated guess as to what might be wrong? Or, is there a way I could discover the cause of the check engine light on my own? And further, are there any independent garages in the Boston or New York area that might be able to diagnose this problem? Thanks!
If you notice the MPG of the car begin to really stink (<15 miles/gallon), that would probably confirm the O2 sensor.
It shouldn't be too expensive to fix... maybe $200 or so.
