Remus is a good brand but I would make sure that you get the one made for your model rather that using one off of a BMW.

Here is my exhaust on my 96. It is dual all the way.

If you buy that one on ebay, you will have to weld on a hook so that it will hang from the factory hangers. It doesn't look like it has anything to properly mount it with.

Depending on your budget...there is a vast number of exhaust systems that you can go with: Remus, Supersprint, AMG, Lorinser, Brabus, etc. (the list goes on).

They are all not too loud, and give a very nice throaty growl. It just depends on your budget. I currently have an AMG system in my car, but will upgrade to the Lorinser dual exhaust system shortly...I like the idea of balancing out the look of my car with exhaust tips on both sides in the rear.

It the end, it depends on your budget, and the design of the exhaust tips that suit your fancy. Performance wise, they are all pretty much similar.

Good luck!

They say that it will fit but actually you have to make it fit. The exhaust tube size may be the same so it will connect up. You will have to cut your orignial exhaust back far enough for it to fit and then figure out how to hang it. Then you will have to notch the bumper out for the tubes to clear the back bumper. What might be a good deal for the muffler may cost you in rigging it to fit.

My kit was made by FOX. They stopped doing import exhausts a few years back and cleared out their inventory. I was lucky to find an E-Class kit that had never been installed.
