crazy windows
I left my 99 e320 sitting for about two months and of course the battery died. Had a new one put in and for some reason the windows now don't work properly. They will go up a couple of inches at a time anfter repeatedly pushing to "up" buton...could that be from the battery drain....suggestions?
Also, code needed for radio...do I have to get that from the dealer?
I'm a newbie and really appreciate your help!

If you call the dealer service department with the vin # they can giv you the code to unlock the raido. i did it.could not belive they would do that. I had a suburban have that hapen and it cost me $400 to get it unlocked.

If the power supply was interrupted (battery disconnected or low) the windows cannot be opened by the Express feature.
To resynchronize the Express feature, press ^ (up) side of the power window switch until the window is completely closed and hold for an additional 2 seconds. Repeat procedure for each window.
The automatic full opening and closing procedure should now be restored.
