RS6 bi-xenon question
Ok guys I just want to clarify. Im under the impression that to hook the high beam solenoid on my rs6 projectors I can just tap into the wires for the halogen high beam, is this right?? Also those of you who have modded these projectors, what is the best way to get a nice bump in color? Washers? Bend shield? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

with E55 bix, yes, I just used squeeze/solderless connecters and tapped in
to the high beam leads. too easy. E55 doesnt lend itself to easy color mod,
and I didn't care that much to do workaround so I didn't try. I understand
that the RS6s are designed so that washer mod is easy.

Anyone connected the bix high and the standard high beam together? I was thinking about it, but converting that high beam reflector area to a nice large amber DRL looks sounds sooo much better.

nearly all bix function the same: 12vdc activates solenoid which moves
shutter to expose the full HID beam. the 12vdc is spliced into the same
leads as the H7 halogen high beam wiring. it's that easy...and takes less
than 5 mins using crimp on, inline connectors. yes, the resulting hybrid
high beam is quite wonderful to see when activated.
