Question Please help me to choose the wright one

Hello to all of you.

I am thinking of changing my stock fog lights on my w210 2001, with something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Merce...8519QQtcZphoto
What are your thoughts about them, maybe someone has them installed.
I want them as i like the look of a clear glass instead of the stock ones.

Let me know what u think.
Thnx in advance.

they look great, espec if you have clear lens headlights. but in performance,
they suck, compared to the OEM lights. quality of worm gear (for adjustment)
is mediocre and has loose tolerances...may jump teeth. but they do look good.

btw, there are projector looking version of fog light now, but i've not seen any-
one here post on how they work/look after installation.

p.s. that price seems a bit on the high side. you may want to keep an eye
on this one

yeap, i would also like to see the pictures of those installed on the car, if possible
Also, have found one pair locally, made by Depo. I have heard something about this brand but unfortunatly it was some time ago and i don't even remember was it good or bad

Thanx for the info.

I would like to buy one just because of the look , not performance.
And to be honest with you the performance of the fog lights on W210 sucks (IMHO). I had the W124 before and the difference on that was huge between fog lights off and on. So on a W210 my purpose of getting clear ones is just because of the look

Also i want to use in the clear fog lights something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ultra...44248513QQrdZ1
to make it look better, as i have an OEM xenon and would like the fog lights to match to the xenon headlights, will it turns out fine? as i don not like the fact that they are yellow at the moment

I have the clear fogs with philips 6000k HID. But mine's a clk. Don't think light output is very good but i sure love how they look! With the clear fogs, the HID output is still better than the orig fogs though. Hate the frosted look.

oh yes the passenger side cannot be adjusted to point as low as the driver's side. It's not a quality defect. Heard the reason is coz on the passenger side, your visibility is not as gd as on the driver's side, so the beam cannnot point too low down. Its the same thing for OEM fog lights on some other cars.
