How to remove mirror cover?
Yes, probably a really stupid question... but I need to know how to remove the rear mirror cover, since my left turn signal isnt working. Got the 2000+ folding mirrors. Removing the entire mirror is no problem, but can't figure out how to open the d*mn thing...

Look above at CL500's source. That is the MBUSA informational disk which
they sell for about $100. The one I posted was from that disk. I think a live
version is hosted on mb.braingears.com, though it appears to be disk 1 of 2. It's
pretty good and gives insight to central locking system, how to dismantle con-
sole, dash, pull headrests, door panels, and other misc weekend mechanic
stuff. If you pay the full amount, you get woman in a thong performing
the narrating. But since I didn't pay anything, I got the dry sounding guy in
a lab coat.
Last I checked, disk 1 (which is all i have) is about 430mb, 3k files over
couple dozen folders. Great resource to have for folks to like to perform
minor mods and fixes.
