Interior lights dont work... Could someone HELP me Please?

Interior lights dont work... Could someone HELP me Please?
I have a MB Class E (W210) from 1996 and wille changing a burned lamp from the heating system knob, i somehow made a short with the screwdriver, 
that usualy burns the fuse right? But the issue is, ive'd check all the fuses (under the hood and under the rear seat) and i found none burned, i changed them all but the lights still dont work! 
And i dont think it's the dimmer (the 2 +/- buttons on the intrument panel right?) if someone knows the solution, PLEASE help... thanks
