Before I start OIL CHANGE... QUESTIONS - STEPS? - OIL FILTER?
Hey, I have a 2000 E320 4Matic with 64k Miles on it. I was on the road the other day and the Check Engine Oil came on. So, the dealer said it would be $150 to do an oil change. I decided to do it myself. This is the first time I am doing an oil change myself so I wanted to make sure I got it down before I start.
I'm sure I labeled everything correct in this picture except for the Oil Filter... Is that in fact where the oil filter is? Also, what oil filter should I use?? Mann looks like the better brand, but which part number would fit on my 2000 E320??

BTW, I am following this guide:

I ordered the Topsider. When it comes in I am going to do it.

OT, but holy COW you have a lot of room there with the V6. I'm installing a pulley kit on the 430 and can barely get a socket between the radiator and the pulleys.

The "fleece filter" is the one that is now recommended. I believe the one I purchased from the dealer was made by Mann. I purchased a MityVac 8.8 quart fluid evacuator that works quite well since the E320 engine holds 8 L. of oil.
