There are a couple of W210 yellow taxis in NYC, would you believe?!
Good story: on my 21st B-Day, you can imagine that I was in definite need of a taxi ride from Union Square to W. 79th Street. Lo and behold, curbside, a yellow taxi MB! I thought I was so drunk that I was seeing things. Nope. It was the real deal. Had the partition and everything.
I've had an S-class taxi in Paris and the driver had his Shepherd dog sitting in the passenger seat.

NY 210 driver
The 210 taxi in NY is driven by a Polish cabbie. In Poland most of taxis are MB and maybe this made him feel right at home?
I am also Polish and the driver was featured in a local Polish newspaper long time ago. It is the most beatiful taxi cab in NY.
