I-pod interface
Im looking for an I-pod interface for my W210. I would like to hard wire the I-pod instead of the aux plug or even the cheap cassette crap. I know MB has one but is that my only option? Thanks..

the Bipes was sampled by Forum someone with fiber on an E320 and it didn't
work. fortunately Jerry allowed a refund.

Sorry, should have mentioned that the Bipes adapter will not work on 2000+ model year cars, which have a fiber optic connection from the head unit to amplifier.
It should work up to '99. (The fiber optic connection in '99 is between the head unit and CD changer, not the amp.)

I was looking at upgrading sound, and after being very discouraged by several local sound shops here in Houston, I find out my car has fibre optic wiring? lol... anyhow, this is where I ended up (short of just doing it right and getting command which is too expensive right now).
