.... nothing to brag about, it is a previous model....
I really have searched!!!! Just can't find the answer......(third brake light)
I have the 97 E420. (NOT LED type, regular single-bulb type)
The third brake light does NOT work.
And there is no "bulb failure" message or anything.
(I found out it doesn't work when doing state inspection)
I check all fuses (three location) every fuse works fine.
Tail light brake lights works perfectly.
I change new bulb and still doesn't come on, and there is still no "bulb defective" message.
Help~

make sure wen facing the back of your car, the third light is located on the RIGHT side, and u must pull the light knob out until a green and orange light appear below...

Could you possibly explain a little bit more.
Sorry for been a noob, but what is GREEN and ORANGE light?
