NOthing much, just after I sand my tail light, I found them too bright and clean. Then I bring them to pro-tint shop to have my tail light tinted.

You can get new w210 head light lens for around $160 at ebay.

I admit it is NOT all that bad if you live in the city.
But once you hit 65+ mph at night, then you will have to be really concentrated!!!!!

http://stores.ebay.com/AUTO-DYNASTY
search "w210 head light"
IF you insist...good luck.

Trust me....the are bad. With the standard H7 bulb and large reflector, it is
acceptable. Then, to insert this same bulb into a smaller bowl and stick a lens
in front of it for appearance sake simply makes it more pathetic. Where the
factory lens is designed and beveled cut for light spread, the Depo (or worse)
lens just isn't cutting it. The cheap reflector on H7 projectors lay out a
fragmented (yes...multiple segments) beam.

The clear lens, H7 halogen is just for looks, and as no-clue says, only serves
as a pacifier and for those who drive predominently in urban environment...with
plethora of street lights. Once you travel in rural or darkened roads, the lighting
is dangerous at speeds above 40 or so.

Yes, this is a little inflamatory....written purposely that way so there is no
misunderstanding that when you buy a Depo, Eagle Eye, etc clear lens
headlight for a MB, you will probably be disappointed. No-clue also highlighted
that the Eagle Eye uses the H3 bulb...an even more weenie a bulb than H7.

If you have any desire for good lighting, drop in an HID retrofit, ie a true HID
projector, not some cheap *** wannabe HID rebase kit/bulb. The majority
of these are dangerous to other drivers, have uncontrolled glare, and hot
spots. The price differential between an HID projector vs kit is about $300
and a little bit of labor to fit.

If you have MB factory issued HIDs, then stay with them if quality of light is
important to you. There are currently no clear exterior lens headlights which
will come close to what you have....that is, w/o modification.

To get good lighting out of a clear lens, you'll need to gut the projector, toss
it as far as you can, and drop in an HID designed projector. Yes, you can also
go cheap and buy a rebased/kit HID bulb, ballasts and use the existing, H7
projector (again, don't buy the H3 headlight) and save $3-400. But it wont
have the precision beam and spread of an HID projector.

Zam has already spent much hands-on in retrofitting W210 headlights. The
E55 HID projector is the easiest, followed by the RS6 projector.

As my first post say, Projector headlight, Clear fog light.
My advice....get the Depo Headlight, and keep your Stock fog light. (unless they are broken)

you should have known better to stay away from teh japaneese brands. The other headlights on ebay are REAL DEPO headlights and are OEM quality for the same price... frankly u make the wrong decision. Chose the projector headlights without the weird grill look.

OH- what makes you think they were from Japan? generally their products have
an edge over Taiwan or PRC wares.
