Cleaning wood trim
Anybody have any suggestions on how to clean and polish the wood trim? Is there anything better than regular furniture polish?

I Use Meguiars Plastx on the wood trim..since it has a clear coat ..its the clear coat that you are working on..Works great on scratches
Then apply a coat of wax to get even better results

Avoid products that contain solvents. you can use a very mild polish and minimize some scratches, if present. High quality carnauba waxes do well on the poly coating. Zymol produces a product called DETAIL. It works very well, not certain if they still produce it. Don't use products that you use on wood around the house - - you're not treating wood. You're dealing with a coating not unlike the clearcoat on your car's paint.

.... nothing to brag about, it is a previous model....
I recently bought a bottle of "Eagleone Nanowax", because it make such big deal on TV.
Well, out of curiosity, I bought one and wax on my car.
Surprisingly, it is works perfectly. ( I never experience any wax that is so easy to buff off, I am old, I don't have much strength on my arm)
Then I tried it on my wood trim today w/ same nanowax...
WOW~~~

I recently posted this question and was told to use Lemon Pledge; while it did make the wood look good, I would like to find something to hide or diminish minor scratches that are in the clear coat. (Not surprising, they showed up after a service appointment but didn't notice them for a few days.)
Is Meguiars Plastx suitable for this? Is it a paste or liquid?

I use a micro towel dampened with water to clean stains,,,then a little p21s carnuaba and buff off with a dry micro...Awesome shine. For quick clean-up,,try the Maguires quick wipe,,,and buff that off too.
