97 E320 rear (after catalyst) O2 sensor

Got a check engine light indicating the rear o2 sensor is bad.
Anyone know the OEM correct manufacturer/part# - I don't want a universal.

I've been to several web sites and seen different manufacturers claiming to be OEM, and different part numbers from the same manufacturer...

Hi golfboy,

I recently had the same experience. The "LEFT REAR AFTER TWC" O2 sensor, as they called it on the invoice was numbered: 000-540-81-17.

Hope this is of some value,

I have a reader and a book with code translation. I'll have to redo the test to check the exact reading.
